Narrative description of Project: The Project area is the section between Ho Chi Minh City and Dau Giay which is a part of on the planned North-South Expressway.The total length of the project is 51 Km. The road is designed in accordance with the expressway standard class A with six lanes.

The route consists of 14 bridges including one very large scale bridge (Long Thanh Bridge with 1,721.4m in total length), 8 large scale bridges and 5 medium scale bridges (including a viaduct). There are 4 interchanges, 12 flyovers and overpasses. The Project ends at Km55+300 at Day Giay with total length of about 51km, as shown in the Project Location map.
Estimated cost of the project about 932.4 million USD. Package 1a has the total length of 3.5km, almost all are bridge and viaduct. Other, it has 200m of approach road with soft soil treatment.
